“My philosophy on teaching juniors is pretty simple. I want them to have fun while learning so they’ll want to spend more time playing golf. If they get to the point where they want to play competitively, then we can kick it up a notch. I also believe playing other sports, team and individual, is wonderful for juniors overall development as a person and athlete.”
Kyle Voska teaches juniors of all age levels and abilities, from beginners to highly competitive golf. At Kyle Voska Golf, private lessons, PGA Jr. League teams, and his popular Junior Academy are available for juniors.
Kyle’s Junior Academy powered by Operation 36 offers 4 semesters throughout the season. This program includes 8 weekly classes and 3 Operation 36 tournaments each semester. The semesters are not continuous so you can join any semester throughout the season. Semester 1 is currently full. Kyle also coaches PGA Junior League teams for ages 8-13 (ages 8-17 in the fall) in the summer. The teams consist of 12 players that compete in 9-hole matches using a scramble format. In 2020, The Links Golf Course will host it’s own PGA Jr. League of 4 teams. The Links PGA Jr. League players receive coaching and guidance from a PGA Professionals, Kyle Voska and Jeramy Curry. Each player also receives: – Two jerseys (home and away) – Bag tag – Performance ball cap & tee-shirt – Draw string bag – And more!
Format: Juniors play a scramble (choose the best shot) and it’s 2 vs. 2. If there are more than 8 juniors on a team for a match, a 3rd player subs in and out every 3 holes.
6 matches – Sundays, June 7th, 14th, 28th, July 12th – 26th (Approximately 5:30 start)
4 practices per junior – Your child will attend one of these practices each week May 25th – June 18th (Saturday, May 30th at 3:30 will replace Memorial Day):
Monday’s at 6:15 (up to 12 juniors)
Thursday’s 6:30 (up to 24 juniors with 2 instructors)
Years Of Experience Playing Tournaments & Caddying
Kyle started playing junior tournaments at the age of 15 and eventually all the way up to the AJGA Tour. Following high school/junior golf, Kyle walked-on the Miami University golf team. Eventually, Kyle became a 2-time Division All-American (2nd Team in 1998).
Currently, Kyle teaches over 200 juniors and was recently named an Operation 36 Top 50 Coach. He’s coached many high school golfers and 7 juniors to play collegiately on scholarship. With that said, Kyle loves teaching beginners and less experienced juniors as well. If you’re child is looking to get started in junior golf, Kyle’s Junior Academy powered by Operation 36 is perfect way to start.
Additionally, Kyle has caddied at Arnold Palmer’s Bay Hill Club and professionally on the LPGA Tour and multiple Q-Schools. On the LPGA Tour, Kyle caddied for Angela Stanford, Kim Williams, and Young Jo.
